Pulsating accelarating problems

I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT, its got 104,00K miles on it. This is the second one i have owned that has had this problem.

The car tends to pulsate at different times, it will do it under a load. like when going up a hill, or at a certian acceleration, these are the only times that it does it. If anyone has any ideas as to what might be the problem, your input is welcome. This is a very annoying problem and i would like to get it fixed. Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem on my 1996 GTP. I am going to change the wires this weekend, to see if it corrects the problem. It feels to me like the tranny is going to fall out of it, but I doubt that it is related to the tranny at all because it is all electronic. My other 1996 SE had a silimar problem, and it turned out that it was a corroded connection on the coil pack. Check that. Good luck. If you hear anything or fix your problem, I would appreciate the feedback as well.

Hey, I just posted this exact same problem. I had my plug wires changed and it did squat. I dont know this engine very well so i dont even know where the distributor is. So i cant see if anythings messed up. Good luck.
