1991 Ford Escort Will Not Start

I have a 1991 Ford Escort GT (1.8L) that will not start. It almost seems there is no or very little gas going to the fuel injectors (have not checked for sure). The car will try to run if you hold the gas pedal to the floor but it is very very rough and sometimes will not run at all. This occurence happen all at once drove in stop went back out to leave and will not start. Any help you might could give me would be greatly appreciated.

fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel rail, injectors. Hell, check your air box too, make sure your filter is clean and your intake isn't blocked.
