I have a 93 civic dx and want to swap a b16a jdm, just wanna knw if I could used my stock wiring harnes for the b16a.... I got the motor for $ 1500 and it didnt came with a wiring harness the guy I bought the motor told me that I can used my wiring harness which I think it's bull, can any one please help me cause I'm looking at the b16a and see there's three o2 sensor and the dx only came with one sensor with four wires in it, I believe it's two black and green, not realy sure on that one, but any way if some could help me or show me a good site to look at it would be apreciated thx......

you can cut up your old one and add the shit you need for the new motor, so yes, it is possible, you will however need a new ECU

I just did the swap myself......used my stock harness......only need 1 o2 sensor. you will have to get a dif ecu......I can hook you up with that for 200 bucks with your choice of settings burned into it....you dont have to cut up any harness.....you can add the knock sensor to d-3 on the the ecu.....move the air temp sensor to your cold air intake as the motor prob has no provision for the sensor on the intake.

yah i dont know what ecu i got, I know the d15b7 it says PO6 but the b16a ecu I got it didnt say anything...... but the guy told me that it's the ecu that came with it.. so who knows...... Did your swap went smoothly? cause mine is not, seems like the more progress done to the swap the more porblem I face, like the starter the guy gave me the wrong shit, it fits in the hole but doesnt bolt up,and the hoses are either too short or doesnt fit to the fitings, but i guess it's all minor things. but thnx for the ino.... later

So your car is not a vtec.....I can burn you an ecu so you have to add only 1 wire for the vtec, set your vtec engagement point at your choice and change your rev limiter to your desired point. I sent you a pm. Check it and get back to me. The swap was a piece of cake.
