Wow, thanks for narrowing it down so much! :rolleyes
One persons idea of a bad ass stroked 302 is a stock block 302 with a cast 331 kit, 9.5:1 compression, edelbrock performers, and an F-cam. Another persons idea of a bad ass stroked 302 might be a boss block, all forged 347, 11:1 compression, 205CC TFS-R heads, and a huge solid cam. Give us a power goal, not just a general term.

Again, it really depends on how much you're willing to sacrifice. A 347 stroker with about 10.5:1 compression, Twisted Wedge or AFR 185 heads and a mild cam (like Comp Cams Magnum 220/220 @ 0.050, 512/512) would be nice, but more of a daily driver, if you want something nastier, how about AFR 205s with a Comp Cams Nitrous Cam (232/244 @ 0.050 and .565/.580) plus a 300 shot on the same shortblock. It really depends on the particular application you have in mind. A budget for such a build would be at least $5,000.
