For those of you whom think you know what your talking about. This is mainly for you rice rocketiers and your euro trash. One of my close friends who is into euro cars, her uncle is the guy who was the mechanic for the supra the charger and the eclipse. I actully met the man about 4 weeks ago and just for the record the charger actully was running aobut 980 hp with over 1000 lb/ft and the euro trash was only running 600 i have never been beat by a rice rocket, I own a 71 roadrunner with a 383 with a blower and im running over 750 hp so when one of you actully takes the time to realize whats "going on" in the race world then post something that actully makes sence.

Im sorry i like having a car thats practical in every day life on narrow streets and around tight corners.......we all have our preferences....

i guess that's one way to make a first impression, roadrunner.... judging by the car you "supposedly" are running, i would imagine you would have a lot more respect for people who are into cars whether they be domestic iron or import and have 300HP or 900. if you're gonna be a needle dick about particular cars, you're not a true hotrodder. but based on your attack on us, i'll just have to assume you're another wanna-be prick.

I'm a hardcore domestic guy, but an eclipse putting out 600HP is a rightious ride whether you accept it or not. we are an automotive forum dedicated to HOTRODDING. it doesn't matter where what car you drive. if you work on it yourself in the interest of performance, you're welcome here. If not, then leave. this is one of the few places on the net where people put the import vs. domestic bullshit aside and focus on cars purely as cars. that being said, i am finished on the subject.

sounds like u have a nice car. also sounds like u dont know crap about cars. so youre saying if someone handed u the keys to a 800hp street supra that got 20mpg and ran close to 1.0 g on the skidpad u wouldnt drive it, cuz its "euro trash". its japanese anyway dude why are u calling it a euro? well since u only seem to mention cars that are in the fast and the furious, i think youre the one who needs to realize whats going on in the race.

from what ive seen in the "scene" most kids are moddin pocket rockets.....only a few have true performance cars....and the domestic majority i see are mustangs and camaroes...and i dont really see any euros unless its a golf gti

My dad has a 383 stroker soon to be dropped in a '69 camaro. I can't wait to get behind the wheel when the engine is in, but I like imports better nevertheless. Sure, who wouldn't want 450+ HP in an old muscle car? However, it's more fun to get a car with -200 hp and turn it into a car with 350-400+ hp and melt some American iron. So if you want to make friends here, I'd suggest you don't shoot your mouth. Take it to the track or light if you want to prove you got something. :flipa:

Actually the 17' roadrunner was a damn fine looking car. But the truth is, I am a Mopar nut and all but this is uncalled for.
