Does any one know somewhere I can get my 7 bolt rebuilt in So. California? What is a reasonable price too? I was going to get a rebuilt 6 bolt put in but they want over $7000. (is that reasonable too?)

holy shit man.... do you know anything about motors, like do you know enough to do it yourself? how much is it costing you to rebuild the 7 bolt? that price for the 6 bolt is outragous!

I don't know enough about moters to do it myself and i don't have a place to do it at because this happened 20 min in utah on my way from ohio to california. After doing some research I think Ill probabily go with the 6 bolt swap though. but I got a couple of questions about that too:

1) shoud I just swap the bottom and leave the 2g head (i need to save money)?

2) How much should I expect to pay for this?

3) Any one know a good place in southern california for me to take it?

Thank you in advanced.
Dave.

It was for installation too...but I worked something out with RRE and I'm getting a complete 6 bolt put in for 5500 for complete engine and installation.

shit... i'd do it for 4500... ship your car to my shop, i'll put the motor in and do everything and then ship it back to you! everything included for $4500
