HEy guys, so i went to go buy a nos setup for my car today and i went to the most expensive place around my area to shop around and ask q's. anyways, they qouted me $575.00 for a zex kit and $950.00 for a "NOS" kit plus and extra $320.00 for installation. I was wondering if these were overpriced or if i could find better online somehwere???

foggers give you the highest adjustable horsepower, but a dry shot is cheapest. i think foggers can add another 100 to 300horsepower or somethin like that, a dry shot adds 25 to 75 i think, i dont remember but i know thats close

i found a list of Sportsman Fogger systems by NOS at Nopi.com you could look at. nitrous is illegal in some states so you might wanna make sure it isnt where you live, here in Virginia neon lights, spinning rims, and nitrous are illegal.

from what i've done with it, and learned from others, a wet system is the way to go (much more hp, and less motor damage). dry does a lot of damage to your motor. anyhow, wet systems are more expesive to install, but much better systems. how ever you plan on doing it, make sure you know how to use it properly, and to have them enable a disengage on the clutch petal. those are the most important.

wait, is nitrous like a continous flow to ur engine while its on or something?? or is it like the F&theF where u engage itby flipping a switch??? sorry, im not familiar with how this stuff works yet..and how often would i have to refill???

there are many different applications. but yes, there is a way to have nitrous kick in automagically when you hit WOT.

me and kang were talkin about some killer setups yesterday, one i already posted that uses a DPDT switch to turn your horn buttons into nitrous buttons when you want to switch the function of them, the other would use your AC controlls in different combinations to control the nitrous, while still allowing you to have normal functioning of your AC...talk about sleeper

well...if you want to look sleeperish....start by not putting a NOS sticker on your windows ;-)

yea but im talkin like so sleeper u wouldnt even know it was there...even if u looked. i mean obviously it would be hard to hide the nozzle but putting it on the underside of the intake and looming the lines would make it much harder to notice.

you could get a hidden NOS system, it hides everything. hides the lines, nozzles, an comes with a small enough bottle to fit under your seat... 10oz

bah thats no fun 10 oz, in Ohio its legal to be equipt with n2o but u cant use it on the street the way the define this is you can have the bottle but it cant be open. With a remote valve opener no matter what ur safe, they could never prove it was open
