Dumb Kids!!

ok, so i'm driving down the road (its 2 lane and 30mph road in the city) no problem. i stop at the light, and their is a mother with 3 kids with her 1 is in a stroler. Then some kid in what looked like a 90's ish firebird flies down the road at well over 45mph!!:nono: Then all of a sudden one of the little kids deicdes to run out into the road and the firebird almost ALMOST hit him. Stupid kid in his car that he obviously couldn't handle, or have the common sense to drive at normal speed in the city, almost takes an innocent life (while running the red light) I wanted to take that kid out of his car and beat the crap out of him and try to knock some common sence into him!! :banghead:

And the mother should have been keeping a closer watch on her kids too!

Agreed. City streets are not the place for speeding or proving what a man you are behind the wheel. Pretty much any city street is someone's neighbourhood. Have some respect for others. I know I get really pissed off when people speed right by my house, with no regard for the kids playing nearby.

Both were at fault. It's impossible to watch 3 little kids or in this case 2.

Actually something happen to a 13 year old kid around my g/f's block...a street that the speed limit is 35 but i do 40 down it sometimes...now it makes me feel guilty because the kid was riding his bike out of his driveway and a guy in a green chevy hit him and drove off...the kids dying now..and they have no idea who did it.

About a year ago, I was approaching a light and when I was a few hunderd feet away, it turned red...and some stupid ricer flew by me doing about 20 MPH faster than me...in his attempt to show me his civic is a pure racecar he tried to brake late. He ended up locking his front tires and sliding towards the crosswalk where a mother and 2 childer were crossing the street. The mother saw the sliding car and quickly ran back to the sidewalk with her children. After I stopped next to him I asked him "what the hell is wrong with you man?" and the moron laughs like an idiot and replies " it was my brakes man hahaha my brakes are bad".

I'm glad he did'nt hit the mother and kids, besides hurting or possibly killing innocent lives, he could've landed my ass in jail because if I explained this story to the cops, they would be quick to point out that were were streetracing. Any honda on rims in my area ia automatically a streetracer...

I can't count the number of times this sort of crap has happened to me. I do what I can to encourage driver safety, but the bottom line is, stock cars are getting faster and more accessable to younger people that often don't have the judgment, ability, or experience to handle them. Every high school kid wants to be on the Fast and the Furious (don't even get me started on that movie!). Speed and recklessness=cool. Parents, get involved. Stop letting the television keep an eye on your kids and for Christ's sake BE F*$#*$G PARENTS!!!!!
