Mute wire on 2001 Yukon XL

I am installing a handsfree phone kit in my 2001 Yukon XL 2500 and need to know if there is a mute wire available on the radio. What is the color and on what connector on the radio. Thanks for any reply. :biggrin:

Do you have steering wheel audio controls? My '01 YXL Denali has them and one of the buttons is mute. If your YXL has these controls, I would think you check the wires that come out of the steering column and find the wire that goes to the mute button. B-careful though, some of those wires trigger the air bag. You wouldn't want to have a premature explosion!
