$200 Speeding Ticket (Long But Funny)

This happened to my dad like 15 years ago but he tells me the story all the time.
It starts off that my dad was driving home from this "local" bar 1 and 1/2 from his home and he had to go through this little town called Marengo (Iowa Hick Town) but anyway the town only has one stoplight, but you have to drive 15 miles per hour through the town; needless to say he was "a little" drunk and being only 17 he didn't think straight sober let alone drunk.
But anyway he was going through town in his old Mach 1(That car could pull the front wheels right off the ground- crazy fast :naughty: ) I guess he thought that it would have been easier to blast through at 145mph! And with his bad luck he was pulled over- by a cop who lived 2 blocks from his house! (He lived in the town outside of Marengo called Ladora) But anyway he got charged for drunk driving and speeding and some other BS that I can't remember right now.
He was going to have to re take the licence test and all of that crap, but when the ticket arived in the mail his own mother wrote back saying that her son (Randy) had joined the army and won't be back for a long time. That was actully true, he was sent off to a trip to Germany on a tour or something like that.
He got back like YEARS later and never had to pay the fine or re-take any tests :cwm27:
He's never had a problem renewing his licence or anything, it's like the charges were never put on his recod! :lol2:

They do like the military. Maybe I should join. lol.
