I'm so upset. My 1998 Dodge Durango won't stay running. I bought it 3 months ago and am set to leave Thursday morning for a big family camping trip. Problem: Will crank over. Will kill when foot is taken off the gas. What do I replace first? Do I have to go to a dealership??

Desperate!!!! Dana

Calm down and explain everything. If it just cranks over then how do you kill it when you take your foot off the gas?

IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE

it costs $50.00 at a dealer.

Replace it now.
