I have read the posts on how to access the instrument lights but I was wondering how to access the dash lights (the ac, hazards, etc). Is there a good manual I could buy to get instructions for this?

Also what kind of bulbs are back there? I just replaced many of my interior lights with the 12v short lamps but are those what they use for the dash and instruments?

Also how hard is it to replace the front dome interior lamps, I cant seem to tell how it's supposed to come out.

Thanks for any info you might provide, nice forum btw. -Chris

The instrument cluster is a friction fit. You'll need a pair of Mercedes "Special tools" to extricate the pod from the dash. You will be able to reach behind and unscrew the speedo cable allowing you to gently pull the pod out far enough so you can replace any bulb. Tool No.
140 589 02 33 00. The tiny hooked ends are inserted at the sides of the pod and turned so they catch the edge, and pulled forward to "break the friction fit. The bulbs can be purchased from any auto parts store for much less. P.
