Hi All,

Maybe you can give me some advice. We've had ours for about 6 months now and I've noticed that under light braking the car wobbles, it feels like rotor warp but the vehicle has on 30K on it. It was an ex rental so it could be the brakes are knackered, but let me know if anyone has other thoughts. By the way under heavy braking everything is A ok, its just the light stuff (please don't tell me to heavy brake all th time - Can't afford the GAS!!) ;-)

Check the torque on the lug nuts. If they have been tightened by some tire jockey with a wide open air wrench it will distort the rotor and will seem like warpage. Should be torqued evenly (criss-cross) to 100 ft./lbs.

Hate to tell ya, but I just had to get the rotors turned on my 03 because they were so warped. I replaced tha pads at the same time, and all is well now. My truck only has 24k on the odometer. Now if I could just get my wife to start going a little easier on the brakes, I'd be ok... :-)

my 02 with about 19,500miles has started doing the same thing. my friend was riding with me this weekend and really commented on it. today I noticed that it seems to only happen with light braking. I'll have the dealer check on my next oil change since there's no noise from the breaks or decrease in stopping ability
