330 transmission problem

The transmission on my 2004 330i does not engage in the mornings. I place it in drive and step on the gas and there is a 3 - 5 second delay before it goes forward. It only happens in the mornings before the first drive of the day. And, of course it does not happen at the dealership. Anyone have similar problems or know the cause? Thanks.

I bought a 2004 325 and my car does the same thing in the mornings.
My transmission light has come on now 3 times when driving it too!
