He said the deer split in half... haha I'm sure it was dead. Also, if you read all he says in the thread he clipped it in the legs while going over 100mph, then he saw it and responded as needed. My guess is that he hit the brakes immediately slowing down and saving most of his car.

yea split in half usually means dead. i cant think of anything baring a star fish that can survive being split in half.

all i have to say is that he paid the price for his actions and everyone needs to lay off him. bad enough he killed a living creature, he killed his nice looking crx. let the man enjoy his misery.

he didnt kill a crx, he messed up a corner. Very fixable. What he did wasnt really that stupid anyway, Wasnt like he was racing though a Highly traphiced area or a populated neiborhood.

He probably would have Died at 70. I agree he was smart in the sense he did this on a non-populated road.

im not saying i wouldent race on the streets if the place and time is right...but 120mph+ ... i think you need to be on a track for that. and his hand was out of the window... it makes me wonder if he was really even racing or going even 100mph. i have seen cars that hit a dear going 60mph with three times more damage than that.:werd:
