McLaren F1 GTR
THE ENDURANCE EXPERIENCE
The McLaren F1 GTR sports racing car was developed in response to the critical acclaim of the McLaren F1 - the world's fastest production road car - the F1 GTR has been described as 'one of the greatest sports racing cars of all time.' Having won back-to-back GT Championships, the F1 GTR made history by not only winning the 24 Heures du Mans at the Le Sarthe track in 1995, but also finishing third, fourth and fifth, all in its debut year.
McLaren Cars designed the F1 GTR by utilising the Formula One race team's in-depth knowledge and facilities, including the development of its Grand Prix-style carbon fibre survival monocoque and fuel cell.
This sharing of technological knowledge was fundamental to the design and production of the F1 GTR: the GTR's electrical wiring loom was designed and built to military aerospace specification as a result of McLaren technology combining with aerospace expertise; TAG Electronic Systems designed the Formula One-derived GTR TAG-Tronic engine management systems and competition instrument assembly.
The unique one-plus-two seating layout of the McLaren F1 road car is adapted for the GTR to accommodate the electronics and switch gear on the right-hand side of the driver, who is seated in the centre of the cockpit. The McLaren F1 GTR, built for long distance endurance racing, produces a lateral cornering force of 2g and a top speed in excess of 200mph.
Technical Specification
Engine McLaren F1 - 6.1 litre V12
Transmission Six-speed transverse gearbox. Final drive unit in aluminium with synchromesh gear selection

That's the same answer I would have given.
There's no confirmation on the GTR in the initial post being #04R, but that is the going specualtion based on the circumstances. I will say that I would be surprised if it turned out to be a GTR other than #04R. There aren't many other photos of it unfortunately. A few were posted here recently so you might try a search of the forum for "Adrenaline" or "04R".

Thanks for the info guys :)
Any tips on where to get more general detailed photos of GTR's online?
I am a scale model builder and have just added some 1/24 F1's to my collection so want to do them justice :) (Thinking of maybe duplicating the livery that started this thread to go with my actual Formula 1 Mclarens)
