1 Kill, 2 Death's

I wasen't gonna post about this but I figured I would since people usually like my stories. Ill try and keep it short.

1st race of Saturday night was against a mazdaspeed protege'.
It was blue, had some visible suspension mod's, a BOV and exhuast from what I could tell. I armed the nitrous cuz it was a turbo car and I wasen't really sure on the performance of them so just incase. Well from a 2nd gear roll I pulled him real hard got into 3rd to about 4 grand and let off. I shoulden't have sprayed on him. He fell back way too quick and kept falling back. but a kill is a kill.

2nd race was against my friend's 91 formula trans am. LT1 I/H/E lot's of suspension mod's some other thing's.

well we went off a light kinda a slow slow roll, about 2k for me and we were about even in 1st shifted to 2nd hit some uneven ground right tire started spinnin and he just pulled away. He would have probably pulled away for alittle bit then I probably would have got him top end, they fall off there. so in 2nd gear he had me about a half a car lead then I shut down due to the next light.

3rd race of the night was his brother with a 90 notchback mustang 4 banger swapped with a modded turbo coupe motor. this thing is bad ass he did all the wiring has real coilover's on it, it's just badass. It look's like ass but that thing haul's ass.

Well we went from a 2nd gear roll and we were about even till 3rd then he just pulled on me real hard :eek: and I just let off and told him his shit was too fast at the next light. He hate's the thing...He was like it's a piece of shit and I just laughed at him.

So those were very 2 death's that I enjoyed and one kill that was ehh ok but I shoulden't have sprayed on him and he would have kept up better.

Nice, but one thing... Your buddy with the '91 Formula doesn't have a LT1.

3rd Gen F-bodies had TPI 350s. LT1 didn't hit the F-body till '93 the first year of the 4th gen.

But it's all good, I knew what ya ment. :biggrin:

(BTW, I checked his cardomain site just to double check he didn't pull a swap under my radar... he's still running the TPI setup. Nice car though.)

N e ways..........i ran a mazdaspeed protege in my buddies CRX.DOHC ZC swap with an lsd ZC tranny.Man.........it was just rediculous.
Not to be a htread stealer, but just thought i would post it here since u r a fellow CRX lover.

Here's the story:
My buddy came up from Valencia to just hang out an whatever.Well, he tells me that he just had his head Port an polished and wanted me to take it for a spin.So we pull out of my neighborhood and hit the first light.A yellow mazda speed pulls up and it's this "trendy lookin white kid" with his oakleys an his very ugly g/f.He stops an is blastin his music and looks over at me like WTF u lookin at.I look at my buddy an he says "fuk dude, perfect time to test out my new clutch"

So i just start throwing revs like a total ricer to get this guy to go.Light turns green an i take off slowly making sure he wants to jump.He guns it an after i see this i take off.I chirp into 2 and am just amazed at what my buddies crx pull.As i go into third he's about a 1 1/2 car lengths back when he slowly begins to pull.I go into 4th an he's at the rear bumper of the crx.I shut down at 105 cuz we are in a 45mph zone an just cruise to the next light.It turns red an i get excitied.During the whole thing, my buddy is like "yea, what now b!tch this is my crx!"

I look at him an start laughing.I'm in the center lane an the Mazdaspeed puls into the left turning lane, i roll down the window an talk to him for a quick min since this is a very busy intersection so lights take forever.He tells me that he has aftermarket exhaust,downpipe, and intake.I'm like thats kool dude.He says"damn what you got under that a type R" i laugh and tell him it's stock cept for stage 1 clutch.He looks dumbfounded an the light goes green an he's off.

The look on his face was priceless when i said stock.

It's cool, like I said... I knew what ya ment. :p

Oh yea forgot one. I was about to bring home my friend in the car and she seen her friends brother driving around in his cavalier. previously I heard he was sprayin so I was like let's race! so we raced from a 2nd gear roll and I pulled on him pretty good but I kinda heard a tsss. I check my nitrous switch to see if it was on and it wasent so he must have sprayed. then I kinda let off full throttle still about half throttle and he came up very quick. and I just let off. We caught him at a light and I was like you sprayed on me. He denied it saying his friend had the kit and his parent's just found out so he took it out. that was year's ago so I knew he was bullshitting me. He kept denying it but I know he sprayed I heard it and I have never seen any all motor J-body have any type of top end like that.

yea you still would have taken him without the spray.Those cars are so ovarrated though, nd to think i wanted to buy one for a few months back.

yeah my Z24 litterally falls on its face top end after 2nd. Its an auto but down low it keeps up with almost everything on the road. 0-50 MPH or so its really quick. . .but afterwards. . .ohh how sad. But thats gonna all change in a month or so. Ive saved half the money i need for my supercharger!

Yea he has like I/E and there was no way he was pulling on me topend like that with a basically stock 2.2L

His sister put him out there when she told me he had "nos" in his car like more than a year ago.
