Need help on removing the MAF sensor

MAF sensor is connected to the housing by two Torx bolts, One of them was capped with hard resin stuff :angryfire . how to remove it?

that's a good question, I run into that problem, but just gave up. Any answers??

I was able to remove that resin with a sharp tip knife, bit by bit, need a lot of patience. I think they don't want you to clean the MAF sensor yourself, they want you to pay $99 for the whole thing.
