1 hour and 45 fucking minutes to travel the 20km to work this morning. 45 mins late for a meeting with a client and now I'll be working late until 6. NOT IMPRESSED!!!

u guys don't have shit on me. I live between the 2 WORST freeway interchanges in the world: the 405 and 101 and the 405 and 10. It take me an HOUR to drive 5 miles on the freeway to work at 2 PM. I can't imagine that freeway during rush hour.

Sounds like NYC, if it isn't the idiots who don't know how to drive, its the pot holes slowing you down. Who says we don't need suvs in the urban jungle. Its like the Hana Highway out there.

Try doing parking control at a major trade show just as it ends. When 5:00 rolls around and all the exibitors want to go home you better watch your toes. At least you are in a car you got some protection.

:1:I took the 10 freeway east away from LA during rush hour a few times in the afternoon. It would take forever just to make it one mile. But traffic here is pretty much horrible all the time all over Southern California (unless it's 3 in the morning). Some people have it bad in some places, but I have to say that absolutely nothing beats SoCal traffic, especially the 10, 101, and 405 freeways (and the 5 freeway in certain parts).

And this is why I love Canada :D

only time rush hour sucks around here is in winter. in the right lane you get the people affraid of the snow (IE 5mph when it's not snowing, but there is a hint of snow in the grass on the side of the road) and the people that think the snow means drive faster (IE 90 mph in a total white-out). so really you have to decide if you want to be late or if you want to take the 15% chance that you'll be alive at the end of your trip.

Purchase a bike. Walk. 5 miles is crap. Or, just enjoy your traffic lot. Any which way, your burning calories. Wlking. Peddling, yelling......... Yelling with some hand movements...
