I am deciding what speakers I want to get and having problems. first what is the talk about upgrading speaker size on front speakers in a p10. Im looking at focals 165v or mb quart ref premiums and open to ideas. I am going for a very good quality sound from my stereo, dont get me wrong, I like loud but I want this to sound great.

Is there a big diff in coaxial and comp besides install?

Just to make your thread feel better, I'll post. :)

I personally have the 6.5" Infinity 652i's in the rear deck, which sound awesome... As for the fronts, I am saving up for a pair of Polk 4x6 plates which have the same tone as the Infin's.

What you might want will also depend on what you intend for it to put out... Do you want deep, solid bass?? Strongest mid-tones??? What kinds of music to you intend to play on them? Just trying to give you some ideas. :D

I have a set of Infiniti Kappa 4x6 plates up front and I think they sound very nice. Still have the factory tweater in the A-pillar, but it sounds good, i havn't had any issues with it yet. Also, another G20 owner that lives near me has a set of Polk 6.5" components up front, and they sound amazing. However, they did take some modifications to fit properly.

Wow...gettin 6.5's up front would be cool. But like he said, youd definatly hafta modify because the window goes down in the door almost all the way there.

I put 4.5 componets in the front. The 4.5s fit in the stock position in the doors and the new tweets went in the original stock A pillar position. They sound great.
