sudden loss of power

i cant understand y after the van warms up it suddenly loses power like there is no gas..after i let it cool down for 20 minutes it willl work fine for 3 minutes and then go through the same motions again..any suggestions out there??

My 92 was doing the same thing. Diagnosis was bad fuel pump, replaced that one with a used one and still the same problem. Now they say it might be a plugged return line or the fuel pressure regulator, or the fuel sock filter in the gas tank might be plugged. All these might be but still no answers after a week. I'll let you know what the final fix is when I find out and vice versa if you have your problem solved?

hey mopar2ya ...i did figure it out last weekend..it was the fuel pump and filter...i changed both of them and have not had any problems since then

Well mine is going on the puter today so hopefully they'll have it figured out and fixed by the end of the week too. Have to scream if it's that used fuel pump is a lemon in the end, because the double labor is more than it would have cost just to have went with a new fuel pump to begin with. Thanks for replying.
