One thing I'd like to mention is a brake upgrade. I see everyone here is always talking about what is going to make them fast or if I put this on my car how fast will it be then?
Lets not forget about brakes. If your like I am and get on it from time to time sooner or later your gonna need to be able to stop that beast. This goes double for those of you who are adding power adders. Nitrous superchargers and turbos are going to multiply the problem your stock brakes are going to have trying to stop you.
I was out test driving my car after making some adjustments to my current set up. And I was driving a lot faster than I should have and found my self in a situation where I needed to stop quickly. Well guess what those stock brakes got hot and got hot quickly and when brakes get that hot they don't work. Lucky for me I had some place to swerve but it scared the crap out of me and I could literally smell my brakes the entire time. By the time I came to a stop you could see smoke comming off of them.
So be smart and try not to forget that brakes are just as important as the go fast bolt ons we all know and love.

Good point. Four wheel discs with some nice drilled rotors or similair, as well as a good set of mutli piston floating calipers or atleast a step up from stock calipers depending on application will save your ass atleast one good time and pay for themselves by saving you and your car. I know floating calipers cant be put on just anything but I have been told time and time again they are better than the rest.

haha I'm dealing with the same situation.. I have four wheel MANUAL DRUMS on my mustang. Its rediculous. So hard to stop. Its given me a scare a few times, like goin down big hills with stopsigns on them... I'm converting to 4 caliper 13" cross drilled manual rotors on the front with dual MCs. Should do the job quite well. The rear will come later, when I have the $$. should make it damn easy to do some nice burnouts with the shitty drums in the rear and the awesome discs in the front!
