I tried it on a junk body with no primer. The cans have very good pressure compared to their old paints. It goes on thin but covers pretty well. It sprays very well from the can. Drying time is somewhat slower than Tamiya. You are supposed to clear coat it for shine but it dries somewhat glossy and I just waxed it to the shine you see here. All in all it's not too bad and far better than their old paints.http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/40535Dcp_4313.jpg

Thanks for the info :)
Did you just wax, or did you polish it too?

Maybe testors is stepping up to the plate here. Hows the cost comparison as to Tamiya's TS paints?

Did you just wax, or did you polish it too? There really was no orange peal so I just waxed it for a good shine. I used Zymol wax only.

I got it at a club meeting for $3.50 , I think it will be $4.25-$4.50 a can in the hobby shops.

That looks really good, hope to see it here in Stockholm so I can try it out myself. But that's probably to much to ask for now that we after a loooooong wait finally got Tamiya's spray cans here.

Looking realy good.

Niclas: You'r not the only one that wants that. Do you know of ány store that might want to import it? Only one I can think of it Wentzel. I wonder how long it will take me to convince them to import this. It took me more then two years of naggin at them to get the Tamiya paints.

Picked up some today, and saw a body sprayed with it at my model club meeting.

The guy sprayed Testors yellow over Tamiya white primer and cleared with Testors clear, it looked plenty smooth even unpolished.

Testors was certainly using Tamiya's TS paints as a target, they smell kind of simular.

Looking forward to my own test.

It will be on it's own rack, it's a totally new line.

It will say CUSTOM LACQUER SYSTEM on the can.

oh, that's Model Master ? that explain why now.. Model Master always was better than Testor. More pressure, better nozzle, but the price is so close to Tamiya, it don't worth saving 1$

#*@$ I want my bottle(s)! Waah!!!
I can't/won't paint with rattle cans so this is a bust for me. I was hoping that their long roumored 'new' car paint line would at least match the spray line color for color in bottles.

No big loss...
I can get Auto Air and Black Gold HOK from local sources. I just need to figure out the best matches for Ferrari 'resale' red and 'fly' yellow.
