cupholders

With so many parts out there for our cars, is there anybody who makes better cupholders that can hold drinks. The ones in my 99 civic don't hold anything and im getting tired of my drinks always flying out.

Alot of large drinks we buy are stupid. Some places give you a cup with a huge upper half and a lil skinny dinky bottom which does NOT work on my cup holders. All of the weight being on the top constantly shifts. Hopefully you know what kinda cups im talking about.

Just start drunking outa sport bottles. Pour everything into one

Hahaha, my girlfriend is kind enough to do that...good thing too, those cup holders hold nothing but cans and a small (16 oz) or medium (20 oz)soft drink.

You know though, a better designed cup holder, like the 94-97 accord has...would be helpful.

LOL...nice explantion there...but I think most would agree....the civic cupholder design does stink.

gues swhat, second day of driving, 22 hours sincei had my car, i had a cup of pop, large top skinny bottom, took a turn quickly and my drink flies into the passenger side floor, i slow down to pick it up and as i reach down i tug the wheel with me and went right into a brand new bmw m3 =)

And that's why you shouldn't attempt to pick things up off the floor like that unless you are stopped....and that's also why we say the large topped drinks don't fit...stick with the small (16oz) and medium (20oz) sizes.

damn.. hate when the nuts freeze from sticking it between the legs.. but even more i have a hard time pressing the clutch with a drink between my legs
