I have a 90 lumina 2.5. I have just replaced the fuel pump 2 days ago, and it was running fine. Now the thing keeps dying on me. It will start right up, reverse just fine, but when I put it in drive, the car starts dying. I checked my fuel filter and added some Heet, But nothing works. Any ideas?

O2 sensor might be your problem. i'm not a big fan of the 2.5's I had one, nothing but grief. Good luck with it.

It's a long shot, but try increasing your idle. Reverse runs at a lower gear ratio than 1st, so it is easier for the engine to move the car. I assume you're driving an automatic which means your foot is probably on the brake when shifting into first. The low RPM's and the relatively high gear ratio may be causing the stalls.

AIR IN YOUR FUEL LINE. Bleed it using the schrader valve at the end of your fuel rail.
