'88 B2200 Hard case

Been going through the threads and have seen a lot of great info.

I just bought this truck from a friend (ex friend) and for a vehcle in mint shape, I am up to 900 bucks USD in parts.

Its has a few issues I was hoping someone on the lisit could help with.

1) Idles very rough but once its up around 200RPM or greater it runs great. I was wondering if this might be a carburator issue or vacuum issue. Any disgnostic ideas?



2) When its cold it seems to burn oil (smoke out the exhaust) but when its warm the smoke lets up. I read here that this could be valve seals. Is this usually the case?
