The AC started blowing hot about a week and a half ago. It took a few days for it to go from warm to hot. Once it became totally hot, the temperature display light started blinking. It blinks for a minute or so after starting the car, or turning on the AC, and then stops blinking. I had someone test the freon level and it was fine. He replaced the wiring relay and that didn't help. He said it must be the fuse, and for me to find the owner's manual or the cover to the fuse box. I found the fuse box cover and the #17 fuse for the AC was completely missing (fuse box cover was misplaced so I may have kicked the fuse out with my foot). I replaced #17 with a 25 amp fuse, but the AC is still hot and the light is still blinking. Does anyone know what exactly the blinking light indicates? Thanks for any help.

blinking light means something is wrong. that is the malfunction indicator. you can try and have the codes read and that might tell you something.
has your battery been disconnected lately? (just a theory of mine)
