Weird question

K my dad is selling his car and i really want it. He says if he doesn't sell it in 2 weeks than he'll sell it to me for cheap. What i want to know is if there is an easy and safe way to make it look like there is something wrong with the car to a non mechanic but takes like just two seconds to fix? I know this kinda sounds mean but i want the car so bad.

HAHA.. Pull the ECU fuse out under the hood.. It won't start.

here's some ideas:

slightly disconnect one plug wire
disconnect the EACV
find the dirtiest sun-uf-a-bitch air filter you can find and put it in

Pull out a vaccum hose---will idle very high.

dissconnect the starter wire at fuse box--wont start

rearrange spark plug wires at dizzy--mis fires

take out main relay and fuses--no power

Yep there are many things that you can do. The easiest would be to rearrange the plug wires at the dizzy because no tools are required, just remember which plug goes where.

Take some engine oil from the dipstick and drop globs of it on the exhaust manifold. It'll smoke crazy. Better yet, just take out the main fuse for the ecu and it won't start.

Isnt your dad going to notice that the car is all of a sudden messed up? Would be kinda funny if your plan back fired and he assumed the motor is shot and takes it to a junk yard or something.

lol shit like this won't work out...just talk to him and tell him to sell it to you. Also, what kinda car is it? Civic/CRX I'm guessing, but what model, etc.
