Squeal from front passenger wheel (possibly brakes)

I have a '97 Dodge Intrepid. After driving the car for a while I notice a squeal coming from the front passenger side wheel. I believe it's the brakes. It makes the noise without applying the brakes. When I apply the brakes, the squeal gets louder then goes away. Once I let off the pedal it starts again. If I'm driving down the highway it doesn't do it. It does it in normal city driving. When I first start driving it for the day it's fine, then after going a few miles it starts. It made the noise before, and I had the pads replaced and everything looked good, but it still makes the same noise. I'm not even sure if it's the brakes.

Any suggestions on what it could be or how to fix or diagnose the problem?

The sound of the noise will tell you what it is. It could be brakes high pitch squeal. It may also be a bearing - more of a rubbing or humming sound.

It's more like a squeal. I read somewhere that if it's a bearing that the noise would change or go away when you turn the wheel, and this noise doesn't change. I got some suggestions from another board I'm gonna try.

If anyone here has any suggestions, please post them.
