That's why u have a few more and stuff like that isn't mass produced ya know,. It's rare at like a few stores.

In Italt, inlaid wood was kind of everywhere, but overall, only a few stores really made profits due to craftsmanship. In Naples alone only one store was where people bought and our Exchange bought from there too.

It's a little pet peeve of mine when people say other talented people have too much time on their hands..its like saying "oh you built ur own race car..you got too much time on your hands" or "you can shoot a 3 pointers..you got too much time on your hands" ... but whatever thats just my opinion..anyways I think that pencil art is really cool.. If i had like a house with a living room to decorate id totally buy something like that if it wasnt too expensive

no. no he doesn't. this is his hobby, and he devotes time to it, yes. but it doesn't mean he has too much time on his hands. it means he has something that he's good at (can you say "talent"?) and spends time doing it because he ENJOYS it.

do those of you here who build model cars have too much time on your hands? or those of you who collect something?

Esp. since pencil carving is the type of thing a person would do while watching TV, thereby making it less of a waste of time than if he wasn't carving pencils at all.

The untalented mock the talented by saying they have "too much time on their hands"...as if YOU were such a busy person that you could'nt take a few minutes out of your day and do something as amazing as that.

It could be his hobby, but he has to be a loser as well?

I look at it as art. Someone has created something using their hands, mind and heart.

Art doesn't extend as far as paintings, it can be anything. Even carving interesting things in a pencil
I think the person has a lot of talent, and is obviously has a lot of passion at what they do.
