Stock truck buildup complete! (pictures)

I can't really modify my truck that much because I don't want to void the warranty. But I did make some modifications to clean it up a little bit. For the most part, the exterior buildup is complete with the exception of an exhaust and maybe a billet grille to come later. Here's some pictures of the truck along with today's sunset along the coast  :

First off was the clear turn signals. Amber didn't go too well with the chrome and gray. This cleans up the front end nicely:

Next was a spray-in bedliner (Line-X), tow hitch installed by the dealership, and of course a Slipknot decal in the window:

Today I got window tint installed on the front windows to match the rear:

Sweet sunset! Why do you need such a huge car for the transportation of one person?

Well, it really isn't that big in person. Plus it usually has two people in it, the other is my roommate whom I car pool with. We alternate weeks driving to work. I'm planning on selling my Jeep and buying a dirt bike so I need the bed to cart it around in.

 A corolla takes 4 in comfort. Why not just get the bike rego'd and ride it wherever you wanna go?

I don't get the US obsession with massive trucks.

amazing the difference that the spray on liner can do to the tray of a ute (sorry truck)

Thanks! I'm just hoping I don't get pulled over for it in the next 3 days since I can't roll down my windows. :uhoh:

Well, If you cant roll down the windows use the air conditioner.

Not worried about the A/C, I'm worried about getting pulled over because window tint on the front windows is illegal. If I can't roll them down I can't hide it.

The dakota really isn't a very big truck and gets pretty decent gas mileage in the V6 model. Much better than the Ram, F-150, Silverado, etc. Just standin up for the Daks... Nice truck, btw

Edit: and he did say that he's getting a dirtbike soon, so he's going to need the truck bed, which a corolla doesn't have.

Looks great man. Once you get the bike you better post picks of that as well.

Hint: You need a billet grill:wink:

I dont know if your into it or not, but what about Dakota tail light covers? A lot of people think they look retarded, but I would rather see taillight covers, than those stupid "Euro" lights. Anything done to the Interior?

yeah, you can't roll the windows down after their tinted for at least 3 days. I've heard 2 weeks before too.

Yea most of the people that have had it done that I know can't roll them for 2 weeks, you don't want bubbles and stuff either that rolling them down causes.

Nah, I don't think I'm gonna touch the taillights. The red doesn't bother me that much. I don't really plan on doing anything to the interior except upgrade the stereo.

Why can't you roll the windows down?

What the other guys said.

The tint is brand new so I have to leave them up for at least 3 days.

What kind of stereo will you get for your car?

the tinted film extends beyond the rubber verry little. if you were to roll it down and up a few times there is the possibility of the film snagging on it and lifting a corner or ripping or scratching. also at the top of the window where the seal is, the film could snag on that as well and be pulled down.

Thinking about getting these:

MB Quart speakers
AudioBahn amplifiers
2 12-inch Kicker subs
Not sure if I want to change the head unit yet. I kind of want it to look stock but sound awesome.

Anybody in here have experience with the above products?

I've used the AudioBahn amps before, great product as far as I'm concerned.
