Well as i made my exhausts for my civic i decided to make a tutorial. Here we go.
Materials:
2 pipes (one that will fit in the other one)
a dremel or a saw
a file
400 grit sandpaper
an x-acto knife
glue (krazy glue works great)
1 index card
your choice of putty
Step 1: cut the pipes to a length you like.

Step 2: when you put the pipes together you will see there is a little gap... we can fix this with a peice of index card. After you cut the index card you put it around the silver pipe and insert it into the brass pipe.

^^^gap^^^

Step 3: apply glue around the silver pipe to hold the silver pipe inside the brass pipe. You might want to use a lil krazy glue to speed up the process.

^^^glued^^^
Step 4: Apply putty to the glue joint and sand when dry

^^After Sanding^^^
Step 5: this step is totally optional, i have decided to cut the pipe on a slant, but it's up to you.

^^^Sry its kinda blurry^^^
After it is all smooth and perfect, paint it and show off your homemade exhaust :)
