Can someone explain how you go about changing the spark plugs on the intake side of the 2.3l 4cyl. I have not even found a way to remove the plugs wires.

Actually it's pretty easy. I had the same dilema too. This is what you do. look in the general area of the plug for three electrical connectors. (between the throttlebody and firewall) One is conn to module, the other 2 are attached to the int. mani. Should be 2 blk and 1 gray. Disconect for clearance. Use a boot tool to carefully remove the wire boot. Use s/p socket w/5 or 6 inch ext. Add a universal adapter then add other extentions as needed. (Whalah) Revers to replace. Hope this helps.I couldn't find it on any forums either. It took me awhile to figure out myself Good luck

I use long handle needle nose pliers, swivel socket and a TWO JAW flexible grabber tool. Don't ever buy a three jaw grabber, they seem to be mostly useless. The grabber can be used to pull the boots off and to start the new plug in it's hole.

replacing plugs without cross threading can be difficult also. I used a piece of tubing. Put the plug into the tubing and use it to get the plug started. Works great!

Just remeber to replace the wires one at a time so you dont line them up incorrectly. Also, they make a socket specifically for changing plugs so make sure you pick one up. this is by far one of the easiest things to figure out so have fun. and dont overtighten youre plugs.
