BMW's unreliable?

As you can see I have a Z3... I used to have 95' 728i. Both of them were really nice cars. Now I want to buy something new (320d ?) but I have second thoughts. Both my BMW's were so unreliable. I have had the same defects and bugs with the cooling system, rear suspention (squeeks) or power steering pump in both cars 7'er and Z3.
Now it's time to think about a next car and... geez I don't want to have the same problems again. Do you guys know anything about 98/99 320d reliability?

No idea from me... we don't have the 320d or even the 728 here in the US.

All I know is that we've had our 1994 325i for 5 years now and it runs great. I replaced the muffler once and we just got new brakes, but the rest has run just the way I wanted it to.... best of luck with your purchases.

I think your just unlucky mate.
Weve had a
1984-735i
1989-535iSE
1990-Alpina B12 750iL
1994-540i touring
and now a BMW 850i.
All our BMW's have ran, and are stilll running fine.
I remember BMW had a problem with the 328s,528, and the 728 a few years ago. The new BMW 320d are nice cars, which are reliable.
