Dealer maintenance or aftermarket maintenance (like Midas, CarX, etc)?

Hello everyone:
I've been taking my 03 Corolla back to the dealer where I bought it from because they will provide free tires for life as long as I have all my maintenance done there. However, the prices are getting kinda steep! For example, I'm going to need new brakes soon. The dealer charges $180, however, Midas has a promotion going for brake pads for just $90 for life...that means, I pay $90 now, and have free brake pads for life! I just pay labor, and that's around $60 for the complete job.
Considering new tires would cost approximately $300 or more, do you guys think I should take my car to Midas, CarX, etc? These places are much, much cheaper. If I do this, I won't have the free tires for life anymore. What are your thoughts?
Thanks,
Erick

If you did your own brakes, you'd save even more in the long run.

^ Yep good breaks, if you dont have ABS, can be had for as little as 10 bucks.
