Problem or Paranoia?

Finally got the car back!! WOOHOO! She still won't hold boost. It is fine when building boost. it'll build real quik and steady all the way up to 18 psi, or whatever I set it to (had it up to 22) but once it hits it, it lasts about a second and then instantly drops back to 12. So I think I can rule out a boost leak cause I doubt it would happen that quickly and that precisely every time. So if anyone has those profec B spec 2 settings I would appreciate it. or any other suggestions.
My new questions are this:
On the way home from sbr, I was doin about 80 on the highway and my EGT was at a steady 13-14. When I got on it, it went all the way past 15 to almost 16. It dropped back down when I let off the gas but I remember Kevin saying that should never happen. The engine wasn't overheating though. Any ideas? or am I being paranoid?
My boost guage calibrates itself every time I start the car. it hits zero, I turn the car on, and it goes to 20 vac. it stays in the vac area (between 10 and 20) whenever I'm not accelerating hard. when I get on it it boosts up to the set 18 psi and then drops back down. it seems like the guage is working fine, I was just curious if it was normal for it to sit at vac instead of 0.
I know I have a leak in the throttle body, minor one, but it's there. Does anyone have a used 2g TB they wanna sell? I'll check dsmtrader also. just curious if anyone here had one. I was also looking into getting a 60mm TB. any suggestions?
Sorry for the long post. and thanks for your help guys (and ladies)

I think the 1g throttle body is 60mm

EGTs: Tune the car
Boost falling off: Could be a WG getting blown open to early, or a big ass leak.
Vacuum at idle: Its a good thing
1g Throttle body: 60mm and a good upgrade.

At idle you are supposed to be around 20 hg of vac...I usually vary from 17-20. I was a little worried if that was normal at first, but Jake assured me it is normal ;)

I need all the seals and everything with it. the seals on mine are bad and thats where the leak is. if you can get me those too I'll be more than happy to buy it!!

you have to mess with the 'set gain' on the BspecII to get it to hold. other than that i would say that your WG is blowing open. do you have the bigger flapper on it? may have something to do with it...
