another problem starting thread

last night it was raining here in NJ, and i was out, and when i got back into my car, and i put the clutch down, i turned the key all the way, and nothing happened, just the lights on the speedo/tach came one (like all the ones taht come one when u start the car. so i turned again and the same thing, the engine wasnt even cranking. well i got it to start on the third try, and everything was fine. then i dorve got out, got in, and it was fine, and i did the same thing a few times and it was fine. then i went out alittle later and i tryed and it didnt start again, but it only took once. i think i might not have had the clutch down all the way the first couple of times cuz now the car starts fine, and i havent had any trouble like taht in the past, so maybe it was just me and not my car.....other than the clutch not being down all the way, do you guys have any other ideas y it might not have been starting? anything with the rain??

could be a bad starter, but proably not u can get that checked really easy. Go to any shop and get they will run a quick diagnostics on it and can tell u in 5 mins or so if u need a new starter or not. But if its not then u dont have anything to worry about

Yeah autozone will do it for free if I am not mistaken.
