Well, today I turn 29 ladies & gents. I know traditionally I am pretty quiet around here, but since you guys have always been so helpful in the past with my modeling enjoyment I figure you could do it for me one last time before I hit my mid life crisis. :screwy: Anyway my question is what model should I celebrate my birthday with that would be of great quality and would add something different to AF?

I just had my 27th b-day Wednesday, and to celebrate, my wife took me to Hobby Lobby to buy some "quality plastic" as she put it. Mercedes CLK DTM and the Porsche GT-1 (and then a little :boink: on the way home)

I turned 29 a couple of months ago, I don't plan on starting my 'mid life crisis' for at least another decade..... :)
Enjoy your day.

Mid life crisis? I've been having one since I was 26 (19 years ago) - its fun! You get to spend all kinds of money on generally useless things ( like boxes of plastic parts) and when someone points that out just say - Its my mid-life crisis!

Oh yeah, I will be using that quote alot. Thanks guys for your well wishes as well as your input. Keep the sugestions coming. I am kinda leaning towards a resins transkit I think. The Profil24 McLaren F1 sounds great I just have to figure out how long it will take to get it. :banghead:

Yeah, don't worry about the midlife crisis bit- they're highly underrated. I turned 30 six months ago, and I'm on my second. With the first one, I got myself a 1:1 scale M3- on this one, I'll be starting full time flight school in a couple of weeks. Life'd be pretty boring without the occasional midlife crisis to shake things up and straighten you out.
Happy birthday, guy!

Maybe something rare from E-bay !!!
Oh & 29 is no age to be getting worried or to be thinking of quitting putting plastic together, i've just turned 39 and only been modeling for 2-3 years !!!
