New Sponsorship!! and looking for Jersey kids!

Well thanks to this forum and the awesome people on it I received a 12k sponsorship from Sport Compact Pro through www.needsponsorships.com I was wondering if anyone was interested in the Jersey area, of starting a team with me for rare cars only! Z's, Supra's, 3000's and so forth. If anyone is interested let me know. This has been a thought for awhile now but I think it would actually be worth it given the new circumstances. Freak-yeah I hear ya man, Ive been learning a lot and struggling with cash. It's real hard to keep up with it. and I have put so much into it just to get it normal and what not that I can't stand seein gkids in their vette's or supra's just KNOWING by the way they look and how they treat their car that they are handed everything and it pisses me off. Thats why i only feel bad about this sponsorship due to the fact of i dont want the image of getting a free ride. But i think i deserve it. Im a struggling working student trying to keep up my car and spending just about every cent on it. So I think it will be good to show up to shows showing what an average hardworking person can do and not a "so rich i think ill spend 2k on rims" kid getiing whatever they want not even needing a sponsorship

What exactly get's you the sponsership? Do you have to have a supped up car to start out with? Or how does it work?

Ide love to join. But I dont think anyone wants to soop up a 85 z. Im still looking for a Z32 but I cant seem to find one that I like or is in a good price range. But if you guys dont mind having a 93 lincoln mark VIII in your group then I would use that, Im getting one of those and with 285 hp and 280 tourque it can almost keep up with a stock Z32 TT.

yeah neo- i just have a regular 91 NA automatic and i told them that i had a new paint job, greddy front end, red calipers and I PLAN ON new upgrades such as injectors fuel filter, intake, blah blah.. and just told them it would be nice to see rare cars at shows becasue thats what people need to see... just finagle them

yeah i hear ya, i was thinking of buying a big turbo kit or supercharger if they fit. my friend and i will put it in.. fun times! i also have to ask if they contribute anything to the rebuilding of engines.. oh well....anyway thats a na? looks good. looks like a turbo.

That's becuase it is a TT. It's a stock '90 Z32TT. Why does everyone think my car is a NA? Hmm....
And what kind of a sponsership is it? Performence I'm guessing, or everything that has to do with the car? I'll be lucky to get a sponsership with a stock car hehe, but I do have plans for my baby in the furture.

i also got a call from SCP and carsponsorships.com. they were very excited telling me i was sponsored for this an that. im a endorsed musician so i knwo a bit abotu being sponsored. again i said theyu were very helpful and excited in trying to find me stuff i coudl qualify for until....

i told them what kinda car i have. 1975 280Z 5 speed, slightly modified.

they said, well, we have stereo and decal and lightig kits.. i said i dont need/want those. do you haev any body kits, engine parts, etc?

they said they are not affiliated with any engine co's as street racing si illegal. i told them im a registered/licenced autocrosser and the guy (SCOTT his name was) didnt knwo what that meant.

anyway, after 30 minutes on the phone, no one there coudl find me anything for the car. he said he was gonna send me soem paperwork and soem decals and id get em in 2 weeks. i said fine.

THAN it hits me. after i hung up i realized i filled out something online to get this fool to call me anyway. and lo and behold i saw an 88 dollar charge on my card the next day. ive since had it reveresed with my bank, thank god! so well see what happenes next.

PLEASE FOR TEH SAKE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD AND HOLY. DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY. I DONT KNWO ABOTU CARS, BUT IN MUSIC REALITY YOU NEVER HAVE TO SEND ANYONE MONEY TO GET STUFF. that only happens if lets say you get a 75% off deal, than of course you pay the differance.

speaking of the co's these guys use, i went to all there sites and the stuff looks liek crap. oh i almost forgot, he offered me verticle doors. i said thast cool, if i get them for free. he saoid no, about 1500. i can get teh kits myself from a magazeene cheeper than that! the best part is, is they say they have deals with dunlop, so i asked abotu tires...and guess what. they couldnt even find anythign to fit my rims...wierd. they are STOCK NISSAN RIMS! idiots.

bought it from an old lady whos had it garaged since her husband died, who apparently never drove it. but let me tell you, its got electrical ghosts galore!

bodys in good shape, it was missing a fender though when i bought it. since replaced it, and its awaiting me to start doing the body work on it, some sanding and blasting.
