what intake brand is the best for a 2.4 4 cyl? I heard that the k&N intakes actually reduce your hp. is that true?

I'd like to know myself, but I can't find anything on this.

K&N did not do a good job designing their 3.4L intake. The quality of all their products is questionable, in my mind, because of this.
