Whistling

I noticed the other day that my Altima whistles when I get it up to
65 and 70. Not all the time, but its off and on. Its not loud, you
cant hear it when the stereo is on. My 96 five speed Maxima done
the same thing. Our 98 automatic Maxima never done it.
Anyone ever heard this on your Maximas? Any ideas? :smile:

Did you ever replace the y-pipe with an aftermarket one? Lack of the precats could cause that. Also, have you installed an aftermarket intake?

Nope, its stock, it comes from the front somewhere. The 96 Maxima
did the same thing and it was stock. I know it isnt anything. but
since the Maxima did it I was just wondering if anyone else ever
heard this. :grinno:
