Where IS the best place to buy a JDM H22?

Guys....
So many places that are selling these motors now.. I mean ebay even has them, but they're all going for about $2500 for a complete swap. Anyone have any other links or know of anyone selling these motors for cheaper or at least reputable? Where is the best place to buy a JDM h22?.....

anyway.. i heard hmotorsonline.com is pretty reliable.. ebay should be ok depending on the dealer... look at the feedback records and contact people that bought engines from them...

The best place to buy a Japanese motor is Japan, here in the states, hmotorsomline, passwordjdm both are good, but if you're putting it in a Civic or teg, it isn't a complete swap, though I believe hmotosonline sells mounts andconversion harness' as wel as axles for the swap.

import auto salvage sells COMPLETE swaps. the axles, hoses capped off and not cut, all the bolts ... even the cat with oxygen sensors attatched. heard alot of good things with this company.

It isn't complete if it's going into a Civic.

Thye don't sell aftermarket mount kits, and that is nescessary for putting it in a Civic, and some generation Accord Preludes.

Never said it was going in a Civic! It's going into a 96' Accord which is a direct bolt in except for one of the motor mounts needs a little alteration. Have any of you guys actually bought anything from them or knew anyone that bought something from them?

At totaljdm.com you can get an H22 v-tec motor with trans ecu and intermediate shaft for only 2149.
I fot mine from them and i had no problems at all with the motor very reliable source , do me a favor though if u order a motor from them let them know that coleh22 let u know about there great deals

I bought a long block from jazz's pro parts. The distributer was gone and the wiring harness was cut b4 the clips, but the engine seems to be in good shape. His number is (214) 454-4018. He is all over E-Bay too. You could use the F22 harness and by a V-Tec subharness from Hasport.
