My 58 ragtop has been upgraded from a 36hp to a 1641cc with dual ICT 34 pict carbs. My top speed is only about 95 or so, but I get there very quick like. This winter I'm going up to a 1915 with dual 48 IDAs, competition cam, and all the extras. Tomorrow I order my new interior $1300 it's gonna be extremely cool. Chick magnet (unless my wife sees this in which case change chick to Church.)
Anyway last night I took one of the sketches and worked it up for fun. I would call this a value study. I blew it up and transfereed the rough sketch on my light box. I used a 5mm tech pencil with HB lead, a stump, a kneaded eraser, and some beer. I laid in an uncomfortable position watching a Monk rerun and worked it up.
It's not really a "finished" piece but I'll hold on to it, and if I use this car later on (inking and what not). I'll use this as my guide. When I ink it all the lines will be clean and fixed, and when I go to add tones I will refer to this little study and see what happens.

Back window is a pop out...very cool for us old air cooled types.

No castback...it's made from baby seal fur, and albino pand whiskers.
Actually 2-tone door panels, and seats. Floor has black rubber under foot with German weave charcoal on the sides. Headliner is tan as is the new ragtop. New steering wheel plus more.
oh SeCrEtMoDdEr,
I'm black you know, but I speak "brotha" in many languages. LOLOLOL
