Need suggestions

I'm looking into investing money into strut bars/tie bars/sway bars/braces etc. soon

A lot of people are suggestion neuspeed or cusco for the front upper strut bar. But thats the least of my concern at the moment. I want to do rear upper first, but i have no idea what i should get.

Can anyone give me some good suggestions?

First off, the FRONT upper will do you more good than the rear upper. Actually the way I've ehard it from several sources in order of most effective, to least it goes like this...

Front Upper
Rear Lower
Rear Upper
Front Lower

That's the preferable order to get it done in. Also remember that a strut bar WILL NOT serve the purpose of a swaybar. You'll still have the SAME amount of body roll after putting that rear bar on, as you did before putting it on. It won't let you handle any better either, that's what sawybars are for. Just some suggestions there. ;)

As for bar brands/types... You can't go wrong with Neuspeed, Cusco or Comptech. Add Benen in there too. All of them make good quality single piece strut/tie bars. You want to stay away from the cheap POS screw/hinged type bars. DC Sports would be an example of this as would any bar that's in the $40 or under price range.

are there any conflicts between the bars and such?

Like, can i still get front and rear upper sway bars, front and rear lower ties and still get a set of suspension techniques sway bars?

Whats your opinion on H and/or X braces?

I'm prepping my car for a couple circuits at laguna seca by maybe late spring or early summer next year. And also the occasional auto-x.

Would you mind creating some kind of part list for me? Money is not an extreme issue at the moment, as everything is still in a basic planning stage. Just try to keep the prices within reach of your average everyday person.

It all depends on what bars you get. I have an OEM Integra Type-R rear swaybar on my EJ6 Civic, and never had any conflicts with the rear lower tiebar I used to have, before I upgraded my rear LCAs for some lighter weight Megan Racing rear LCAs. But some bars will have problems while others won't, simpley due to design and how they mount to the suspension. The ITR bar is nice because it's exactly like the OEM Si rear bar, only it's 22mm instead of 13mm.

H-braces are GOOD. I just put one on my Civic last week. Of course i had to adjust the dampening on my Teins to adjust for the additional understeer that the brace created, but my steering feels a little more precise, defined and quicker. Can't seem to get the rear of the car to slide out as much as it used to, which is fine with me.

For my bars/brace setup I have as follows...

Front: Neuspeed upper front strut bar
Megan Racing H-brace

Rear: Intergra Type-R 22mm swaybar w/ Beak's kit (http://www.beaksproducts.com)
and very soon to add Cusco solid one piece rear lower tiebar to replace my old Arospeed hinged type generic style tie bar.

The rest of my setup includes my Megan Racing rear LCA's and my Tein SS coilovers with +2kg spring upgrades at all corners (10kg front and 6kg rear)
