2005 Corolla interior question...

my girlfriend just got a 2005 corolla LE. Its silver, with sunroof, dark grey/black interior. She wanted the S, but in W. Washington they are hard to find. Anyways, the LE only comes with the fake wood trim shit, and im wondering how easy it is to remove and repaint, or reapply a new brushed aluminum kit over it? Who makes some good quality interior trim kits? We settled for the fake wood because everything else was perfect, but....we hate the wood!!!!!! any help would be appreciated.

there are kits available you can buy. but most of them stick on over the existing trim and leaves the suface sticking up
