alright does anyone know where nitrous was 1st used to help an engine gain power?
edit:btw not really looking for one particular instance or use, just what type of vehicles it was 1st used on, and not as an experimantal thing.

good guess, but it was ww2. hitler had a lot of development on the jet engine so we came up with nitrous to help our conventional-engined planes out.

that was close,but I think they developped turbochargers on airplane engines too.
