Help Headlights

On my 1994 Cherokee, My headlights suddenly will not turn on or stay on bright. When I hold the handle back, the high beams will come on, but this will not stay engaged. The lights are new, but dim will not come on, regaurdless! I want to drive at nigh; HELP!

had kinda the same problem, I replaced the entire headlight switch and that fixed it, might try that, I got a used one for 10 bucks
