What can I do?

I have a 1999 Honda Civic. It's automatic, not dohc, or vtec. What can I actually do to my car to improve it's performance? People keep telling me to not even try because it's automatic, but I want to anyway.

Sure, drop in an automatic H22... 200hp... will make for a nice power upgrade :)

there is ALWAYS something you can do, you just have to set your financial limits, and some goals accordingly. How much do you want to spend? Are you willing to do major work to this car's engine, or even get rid of the engine (probably a good idea)? What other goals do you have as far as suspension, exterior looks, etc.??

sell it, get a hatchback, swap in a b series motor, be fast:D

You can build it, boost it, blow it, and/or swap it ($). or go for show and no go
