okay this is my first time posting up a thread , so dont be too quick to pick on the noob , cause i have my fair share of honda experience and tuning maybe not to a professional level but , i have done mild swap and some major engine repairs, but i am so dumb founded on this b20 vtec thing so any helpful advice or suggestion will be nice..please keep in mind i have no budget limit when building this ultimate b20 vtec turbo so every and any input will help .. please answer these guestion b4 u give any input on turbo/internal setup and parts to used..i also have a 94- integra gsr head ( p72- obd1 ) head that i will be using to mate to b20 block ..please help soon , because i do not know how long this motor will be at the salavage yard..
@ my local salvage yard lies a 80,xxx miles 90 prelude with a perfectly clean long block ( b20A5 ) with automatic tranmission ..guy is asking $150 for the whole motor ..is this a good deal ?
second of all , what is the difference between the b20z n b20a5 ? beside the fact that one came out of the prelude and other came off a crv ? which one is recommended to used for crv vtec ?
third question , will my 94 integra ls tranny mount up to the b20a5 block ?
any last but not least has anybody tried boostin there crv vtec yet ? if so please give me your feeedback

The b20z has 10 more hp than the regular b20 because it has higher compression. (which is not boost friendly btw) The prelude AND the engine sound like a good deal. If you want to find out more about a b20 vtec, use the search. There is countless threads about this topic.
