Well I just replaced the EGR Vlave :banghead: (182.00) I hope this stops the code 63. Im not sure how to clean the old one to know if its any good or just gummed up. I do know the part is stamped GM so it must be 16yrs. old. The car has about 108+ miles on it. I reset the computer. Please do you think the light will come on again. Im about to sell the car for 1.00 right now Im so disgusted :disappoin with it. I only paid 750.00 for it and so far I have had to put in CV joints (both) starter,Altenator, Modular,Coils, plugs, and now the EGR Valve had the car for less than a yr now.(UGHHHHHHHHHHH) sorry to sound like a winey one but I need to vent. oh and ontop of that the plastic cap broke in three places will this hurt anything I taped it with black tape.
WELL Thanks
Michele

No, won't hurt anything. Just, next time go to a salvage yard.
EGR valve @ Autozone: $182.00
EGR valve @ Salvage yard: $25.00
Saving bundles of money: Priceless.
